Why Does The Sun Shine? (The Sun Is A Mass Of Incandescent Gas) is just a classic little song. It’s sang like a song from school, meant to teach kids and get stuck in their head. Love it. Jessica is a cover of The Allman Brothers Band, and it’s a really cool song. This version intends to go all weird with it, which is sort of neat. Whirlpool was originally by Meat Puppets, and this time I don’t know the original. However, I like the feel of this song, but the vocals annoy me.

Spy is kind of neat, it’s a cool idea but the song doesn’t really appeal to me. This little EP is a nice slice of TMBG, but I only ever remember it for the title track.

Final Rating: 6.5/10
