Solitude is a fantastic track, with great plodding riffs and vocals that mostly work. The guitar solo is pretty neat too, and everything just melds together well. Demon’s Gate is a slightly bigger song it is pretty great as well. Some more awesome riffs and solos fill the song. There are some nice changes of pace through out too. Crystal Ball continues the trend of great songs, and I really love the fast section in the middle.

Black Stone Wielder isn’t quite as memorable as some of the other tracks on here, but it’s quite enjoyable as well. Under The Oak is in a similar vein, nothing bad here. A Sorcerer’s Pledge is great as well, the extra little bits on the bookends of the track add something to it as well. I can’t be quite descriptive about this album as I don’t entirely love it, but it’s enjoyable to listen to and is a nice choice from the genre.

Final Rating: 8/10
